Mumbai: The process of extortion and threats in Bollywood is not stopping. After actor Tusshar Kapoor, now Ayushmann Khurrana has also been sent an audio message demanding extortion of crores of rupees. The sender of the message has described himself as a member of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Ayushmann has lodged a complaint with the police.

According to police sources, in the message sent to Ayushmann, the caller claimed to be associated with a gang and asked for a huge amount of money from him. Mumbai Police is now investigating the audio clip. Along with this, the voice heard in the message is being matched with the voice of a criminal present in his records. Investigating agencies are trying to find out whether there is actually an organized gang behind the threat or whether someone is scaring film stars by using the gang's name. At present, Lawrence Bishnoi gang has not taken responsibility for this case.

5 crores were also demanded from Tusshar Kapoor

Earlier, actor Tusshar Kapoor had also allegedly received a threat of giving Rs 5 crore in the name of Lawrence Gang. An attempt was made to scare him by sending a voice note. After receiving the complaint, Mumbai Police handed over the investigation to Anti Extortion Cell and Crime Branch. The police compared the threat audio with the real voice sample of Harry Boxer on their records. According to senior officials, both the recordings did not match. After this, in the initial investigation, suspicion was raised that some fraudster had used the name of the gang.

Bollywood on target of Lawrence Bishnoi gang?

In recent times, there have been reports of many film personalities receiving threats. There was also an incident of attack on actor Tiger Shroff on October 18, in which he narrowly escaped. Responsibility for this attack was taken by Lawrence Bishnoi gang's henchman Anil Pandit. After this, there were reports of stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh also being the target of the gang. Now the threats received by Tusshar Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana have increased the concern of the film industry. However, the role of the gang in these cases can be confirmed only after the investigation is completed.
