New Delhi: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has expressed strong objection to the controversial remarks made by BJP MP Kangana Ranaut regarding the protesting youth and 'Gen-Z'. In an interview given to a private news channel, Ramdev directly termed Kangana's statement as a sign of 'distorted mentality'. He said in a sharp tone that it is completely inappropriate to address the youth of the country with such derogatory words. Without naming anyone, the Yoga Guru also made it clear that the leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party should take serious cognizance of the rhetoric of such bold leaders of their own party and take appropriate steps against them.

aimed at exploits

Baba Ramdev also pointed fingers at the past and personal conduct of the MP. He said that everyone knows what a person's childhood and youth have been like and what his past exploits have been like.

Ramdev said that if someone praises him or his yoga, it does not mean that they will cover up the sins of that person.

what was the whole controversy

In fact, during the CJP Protest, Kangana Ranaut had commented on the protesting girls in the Parliament, calling them 'sluts' and raised questions on their character. After this statement, opposition parties from Parliament to the streets had expressed strong protest. Despite all-round attacks, Kangana did not back down from her statement and countered by saying that cockroaches come out of the gutter only. In the background of this statement, Baba Ramdev has expressed his strong reaction. Baba Ramdev said that the youth do not come from any one caste or community, but children of every section are a part of it. Youth are the biggest strength of the country and no one can deny this truth.

speak openly on anarchy

Apart from the Kangana controversy, Ramdev also openly expressed his views on other contemporary and diplomatic issues of the country. On conversion, he said that Sanatan culture is so rich that there is no need for anyone to convert to other religions. At the same time, in the context of Mehbooba Mufti's statements, he said that in a democracy, freedom of speech should not be used to spread intellectual anarchy in the country. According to Ramdev, today neither Hinduism nor any other religion is in danger in the country, but the real need is to make the country economically strong by removing it from religious disputes.
