The statistics show that fans have stocked their homes with essential items for the party even before the match starts.

According to Instamart, sales of iced tea and kombucha increased by a whopping 147 percent. Chips and namkeen was the most preferred pairing, while many opted for instant noodles to avoid wasting time while watching the match. Popcorn, cakes and cream biscuits were also in high demand.


The excitement of this match was not limited to Mumbai, Delhi or Bangalore. Cities like Hosur, Tirunelveli, Jodhpur, Sonepat, Roorkee, Kozhikode, Lonavla, Palakkad, Guwahati and Bilaspur saw the highest increase in orders. Out of which Hosur recorded an increase of 41.9 percent. The mass screening trend was also evident with Bangalore having the highest number of purchases per order.


Even after the start of the match, the pace of orders continued. In particular, the period of 1:31 pm to 2:15 pm saw the biggest wave of hunger. As a result, fans have seen a huge demand for fast food and refreshments while watching the match.
