A UK freight company has fallen into administration in another serious dent to the UK motor industry. According to The London Gazette, Eagle One Delivery Limited, based in Warrington, appointed administrators on April 16, 2026.


Details of the administration notice were published by the London Gazette in the early hours of Wednesday, April 22. The business, based at Appleton Thorn Trading Estate, Unit 3G9 Lyncastle Way, Warrington, opened back in 2020. There is no news on any potential jobs affected by the news at this stage.



The business is said to focus on international transport, freight forwarding, shipping, warehousing and storage services.


The news is another blow to the UK motor industry which has suffered a series of closures so far in 2026.

What other haulage company went into administration this week?

Haulage and fleet companies have also been in the firing line, with two similar closures over the past few weeks alone. Earlier this week, Nottingham-based Haulage business, Martyn Barratt Transport Limited, filed for administration.


The company focuses on supply transport and warehousing needs and claims to have a fleet of over 60 vehicles. This includes everything from small 3.5-tonne sprinter vans to a range of 26-tonne lorries.


Martyn Barratt has been in business since 2000 and celebrated its 25th anniversary last July. As well as haulage services, the business also offers secure warehousing of 60,000 sq ft, with all goods covered by the RHA conditions of carriage.


Martyn Barratt has also offered a series of repair services, with fully qualified HGV technicians on site to service, maintain and repair commercial vehicles to MOT standards. The company also has a two-bay workshop with three call-out vans to ensure vehicles are properly prepared for their MOT.

Which other motoring companies have fallen into administration this week?

Meanwhile, UK Truck and Plant Group Limited, a firm that specialises in the repair and maintenance of commercial fleet vehicles, also announced the appointment of administrators on April 9.


British electric car charger manufacturer, dubbed a "world leader" in EV tech, also dropped into administration in April. ZPN uses patented ring topology technology to overcome grid supply issues, but appointed administrators on April 15, 2026.


A UK electric vehicle-charging company, EO Charging, also collapsed into administration after operating for 12 years.
