Manchester United head into the March international break following a 2-2 draw with Bournemouth. Already grappling with injuries, the Red Devils' defence suffered an additional setback when Harry Maguire was sent off during Friday evening's visit to the Vitality Stadium.
United were held to a 2-2 draw by the Cherries during the match, but it was Stuart Attwell's decision to show Maguire a red for denying Evanilson a goalscoring opportunity in his own box that stole the headlines. This took place on the same day that Maguire received a call-up to the England national team from Thomas Tuchel.
The 33-year-old is part of a 35-man England squad set to face Uruguay and Japan at the end of the month. However, he will now be unable to participate in United's match against Leeds on April 13 due to a one-match suspension.
This adds to the strain on an already stretched defence, given the numerous injuries that United are currently contending with. Here, Express Sport outlines who is currently out of action for United, and their potential return dates.
Patrick Dorgu
Patrick Dorgu has been recuperating from a hamstring injury which he sustained against Arsenal at the start of the year. He is not expected to return until April at the earliest.
Potential return date: April.

Noussair Mazraoui
Noussair Mazraoui was absent from United's trip to the south coast on Friday due to illness, having also missed Wednesday's training session. Carrick confirmed in his press conference: "[Dorgu] is a bit further down the line, but [Mazraoui] is just ill. He just wasn't feeling too good today."
Potential return date: April 13 vs Leeds (H).
Matthijs De Ligt
Matthijs De Ligt has been sidelined since November with a back injury. Speaking about the defender, Carrick said: "It's difficult to say, just because it's taken that much time. I can't give you any more on it really. It's one of those things with backs that sometimes you think it's all right and then all of a sudden it's not quite right."
Potential return date: April 13 vs Leeds (H).
Lisandro Martinez
Whilst Lisandro Martinez also missed the Bournemouth match due to a calf injury, Carrick gave a hopeful update on the Argentine. He said: "Lisandro is] closer, a lot closer. He's getting there, so after this one. I think he'll be alright."
Potential return date: April 13 vs Leeds (H).
