CM Mohan Yadav Vision: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while addressing investors from Rajasthan in Jaipur, described both the states as 'natural partners for economic progress'. He termed the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project as a game-changer and said that the entrepreneurship of Rajasthan and the resources of Madhya Pradesh together will make Central India the new 'Industrial Power Centre'.

Bhopal : Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, while presenting a historic vision, has said that Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan are like twin brothers. Both the states together are preparing a developed, self-reliant and strong India. CM said that both the states are natural partners not only in cultural heritage and diversity but also in economic progress. In the 'Interactive Session on Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh' organized in Jaipur on Saturday, he openly invited investors from Rajasthan to invest in MP.

Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project a step to change the picture

The Chief Minister highlighted the combination of Rajasthan's strong manufacturing ecosystem with developed textile, gems-and-jewellery and organic cotton capacity of Madhya Pradesh as a powerful value chain. Laying special emphasis on the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal National River Linking Project, he said that this ambitious plan of Rs 1 lakh crore will write a new story for the development of both the states. The central government is bearing 90 percent of the cost of this project, while the states have to pay only 5 percent each. Dr. Yadav said emotionally that the relationship of 'Roti-Beti' has existed between us for centuries, now through this project the unbreakable relationship of 'Water' has also been established.

Prime Minister's leadership and industrial ease - CM

Praising the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Chief Minister said that under his leadership the distribution of natural resources among the states is being done very sweetly. Recognizing the intelligence and business ability of the entrepreneurs of Rajasthan, he invited them to invest in Madhya Pradesh. He said that amidst the challenges of time, we have golden opportunities to move forward. Madhya Pradesh government has simplified the rules and laws for setting up industries, so that investors do not have to face any kind of obstacle.

26 new policies and technologies of the future

To promote industrial investment, Madhya Pradesh government has implemented 26 types of new policies in various sectors. The Chief Minister announced that now the state government is preparing to bring a special policy for the space and AI (Artificial Intelligence) sectors also. Enumerating the achievements of Madhya Pradesh in the field of energy, he said that the state is not only self-sufficient (surplus) in terms of electricity, but is also emerging as a 'green, clean and solar energy capital'. The operation of Delhi Metro with electricity from Madhya Pradesh is a living proof of this. Electricity is being provided to industrial units at competitive rates.

Sector-wise development strategy

Madhya Pradesh is also taking great leaps in mining, medical tourism and dairy sectors. To open medical colleges and hospitals on PPP model, the government is providing land on lease of just Re 1. To increase milk production, huge cow sheds with capacity of 5 thousand to 50 thousand are being opened and cow subsidy has been increased from Rs 20 to Rs 40. Public welfare schemes like distributing free milk to school children have also been started.

Digital Investment and Infrastructure

The Chief Minister rejected the notion that industries cannot survive in Madhya Pradesh. He told with figures that today Madhya Pradesh is among the fastest developing states of the country. The state's 'Single Window System-Invest MP 3.0 Portal' is among the best digital platforms in the country. The government has made a provision of more than Rs 1 lakh crore for industries and infrastructure development. The country's first manufacturing zone for power and renewable energy equipment is being developed in Narmadapuram.

Promotion of aviation and tourism

Capital subsidy is being given on big investments in sectors like hotels and hospitals. Along with the gift of Tiger Safari and airport in Rewa, VGF of Rs 15 lakh is being given to the air service companies under the aviation policy of the state. Religious and tourist places are being connected through 'PMShri Heli Service'. The Chief Minister also gave the example of the model of power sharing in Morena with Uttar Pradesh, which is an example of mutual coordination.

Trust of partners and executives

On this occasion, Rajasthan's Public Health Engineering Minister Kanhaiyalal Choudhary praised the solution to water distribution. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Principal Secretary (Industrial Policy) Raghavendra Kumar Singh said that the state has 1 lakh acres of land available for investment and investors are being given capital subsidy of up to 40 percent. President of Rajasthan Chamber of Commerce, Dr. K.L. Praising the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, Jain said that the state has made great strides in industrial and social infrastructure. During the session, Manish Gupta of Insulation Energies shared his positive experience of investment of Rs 1650 crore in Babai-Mohasa field. Rajasthan Angels Group Chairman Mahavir Pratap Sharma praised Madhya Pradesh's cheap electricity and investment friendly environment.

CM's one-to-one discussion with industrialists

At the conclusion of the program, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav held one-to-one discussions with several big industrialists like Mahindra Life Sciences, Pratap Group and Chief of Plastic Manufacturers Association in Jaipur. Invited him to join the 'heart of the country' Madhya Pradesh. He assured that with better policies, attractive incentives and full support of the government, investors will get immense opportunities for development in Madhya Pradesh.
