The resonance of Diwali celebrations organized on 23 October in the Jubilee Hall of the House of Commons of the British Parliament has become a topic of discussion not only in Britain but also in India. The program was inaugurated by the chief guest, Ms. Seema Malhotra, Minister of Asia Pacific and Equality of the British Government, by lighting the lamp. Emphasizing the importance of Diwali, he said how this festival binds all Indians together. Special guest of the program, Lord Karan Bilimoria said that such programs connect our youngsters living abroad with their culture. Present in the program was the dignified presence of former Southall Parliamentarian Shri Virendra Sharma. On this occasion, Brentford and Isleworth MP Ruth Cadbury Oxbridge and South Ruislip MP Danny Beals Old Bexley and Sidcup MP Louis French Harrow East MP and Padma Shri awardee Bob Blackman also congratulated all the guests on Diwali. Dr. Anuradha Pandey from the Indian High Commission, London, Chairman of Laxminarayan Temple, Mr. Pramod Kad Counselor from Hounslow, Mr. Kuldeep Tak, Mr. Sachin Bansal, Pramod Shukla, Mrigank Mishra, Mrs. Nidhi Tiwari, Dr. Om Sharma, Dr. Kalpana Sharma, Dr. Raghu Kota, Dr. Amit Batla, Dr. Anu Tiwari, Mrs. Kavita Pandey, Mrs. Preeti Mishra had the dignified presence.
