DRDO ISSA Apprentice Recruitment 2026: The Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, has announced a recruitment notification for a one-year apprenticeship. A total of 21 vacancies are available for this recruitment for candidates who passed out between 2021 and 2025.

What are the eligibility criteria for applying?
Graduate Apprentice (Computer Science and Engineering): Candidates must have a first-class degree in B.E./B.Tech (full-time regular course) in Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized university or institute.

Graduate Apprentice (Mathematics/Mathematics): Candidates must have a first-class degree in M.Sc. (full-time regular course) in Mathematics from a recognized university or institute.

Technician Apprentice (Diploma, Computer Science): Candidates must possess a Diploma (full-time regular course) in Computer Science from an institution recognized by the State or Central Government.

What is the required experience?
Only candidates who have passed their qualifying examination (as regular candidates) in the year 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, or 2025 are eligible. Candidates who have already completed or are currently pursuing an apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act 1961, or who have one year of work experience, are not eligible.
