Faisal Shinozada and Usman Sadat then put on a 64-run partnership for the second wicket to take the team past the century mark. Sadat scored 39 runs off 70 balls with 3 fours.

Shinozada then put on a third-wicket partnership of 148 off 130 balls with Uzairullah Niazi to give Afghanistan a big total. Shinozada was dismissed for 110 runs off 93 balls with 15 fours, while Niazi scored an unbeaten 101 off 86 balls with 12 fours and 2 sixes. Deepesh Devendran and Kanishk Chauhan took 2 wickets each for India.

An emphatic victory for India

In reply, Indian openers Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Aaron George played aggressively and put on a 90-run partnership for the first wicket. Vaibhav Suryavanshi was dismissed for 68 off 33 balls. Then captain Ayush Mhatre scored 62 runs with Aaron George.

Aaron George’s century led to India’s victory. Meanwhile, George also completed his half-century and remained on the wicket. George scored a century in 95 balls. This innings ended Afghanistan’s hopes of victory. Aaron George scored 115 off 104 balls with 15 fours and two sixes. Vihan Malhotra scored 38 runs and Vedant Trivedi scored five runs to seal the win for the team.
