TNTET 2025 Exam Date Postponed: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) has postponed the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025, which was initially planned to be held on November 1 and 2. According to the new schedule, Paper I will now be held on November 15, whereas Paper II will be held on November 16, 2025. The rescheduling is owing to administrative reasons, as per the notification uploaded on the TRB's official website at trb.tn.gov.in.

Meanwhile, the window for applications is still open for interested candidates. September 8, 2025, is the deadline for the application. Also, there will be an edit window between September 9 and September 11, during which time applicants can correct information on their filled forms.

The test will be conducted in OMR-based mode, with 150 multiple-choice questions, lasting three hours for each paper. Hall tickets with unique information regarding exam date, time, and venue will be available on download on the official TRB website closer to the dates of the exam.

Minimum qualifying marks in the General category are 60% (90 marks). For SC, SC(A), BC, BC(M), MBC, DNC, and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) candidates, the qualifying mark is 55% (rounded off to 82 marks). ST candidates have to obtain 40% (60 marks) to be qualified.
